⚫ International passenger numbers (*3) reached 2.92 million (105% of the previous year), marking a record high for February due to sustained growth in demand for travel to Japan.
⚫ Japanese passenger numbers (*4) reached 710,000 (101% of the previous year), continuing the trend of exceeding the previous year's figures since April 2021.
⚫ Foreign passenger numbers (*5) reached 2.02 million (106% of the previous year), marking a record high for February, despite the impact of reduced passenger flights to China, due to the same factors driving overall international passenger growth.
(3) Cargo Trends
⚫ International air cargo volume (*6) reached 146,000 tons (105% of the previous year), marking the 23rd consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
