NanoFrontier Inc. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; CEO: Seiya Inoue; hereinafter "NanoFrontier") announces that it has been selected for the second consecutive year for the FY2026 "Fukushima Tech Create (FTC) Acceleration Program" implemented by the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework Promotion Organization.
Further developing the development business of immersion cooling liquid for AI data centers utilizing the nanoparticle generation technology worked on in the first year, in the second year we will work on the optimization and mass production of nanoparticle-dispersed cooling liquid.
## Key Achievements of the First Year
NanoFrontier was selected under the theme of "Highly Efficient AI Data Center Immersion Cooling Liquid Development Business" in the FY2025 FTC Acceleration Program, and has promoted commercialization in the energy, environment, and recycling fields, which are priority areas of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework. In the first year, we fulfilled all items as originally planned, and were able to evolve nanoparticle technology from the "experimental verification stage" to "mass production, business, and regional implementation."
The main results are as follows.
## Initiatives for the Second Year
Through the initiatives in the first year, we were able to construct the basic technological demonstration of nanoparticle-dispersed cooling liquid and the foundation for collaboration with business partners. In the second year, building on these results, we will promote the optimization and mass production toward the commercialization of the cooling liquid. Specifically, we will work on the following items:
- Exploration of nanoparticle optimization: Utilizing the experimental workflow established in the first year, we will systematically explore the optimal conditions for the composition, particle size, and concentration of nanoparticles dispersed in the cooling liquid.
- Mass production of cooling liquid containing nanoparticles: Developed in the first year and
