Nankai Hawks Revival Night in Osaka Event: Station Staff to Wear Hawks Uniforms to Boost Excitement

NANKAI Co., Ltd. (President: Nobuyuki Okajima, hereinafter "NANKAI") will be the game day sponsor for the "Nankai Hawks Revival Night in Osaka" hosted by the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, to be held on Tuesday, August 4th at Kyocera Dome Osaka. In conjunction with this event, NANKAI and Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (President: Tomoshi Kajitani, hereinafter "Nankai Railway") will implement various initiatives to generate excitement for the game.

Starting Wednesday, July 1st, tie-up advertisements with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, reminiscent of the Nankai Hawks in the 1960s, will be displayed across all Nankai Railway lines. From in-train ceiling posters to flag posters on the Namba Station platform and posters at major stations, various locations along the Nankai Railway lines will be adorned with Nankai Hawks themes.

Additionally, from July 1st to Tuesday, August 4th, a large poster (and at other major stations) designed to evoke the Nankai Hawks era will be installed at the Namba Station 2nd-floor South Exit, which was reportedly often used by Nankai Hawks players. Collaboration panels combining player names and station names will also be installed sequentially. A life-sized panel of Kenta Imamiya in a Nankai Hawks revival uniform will be placed at Shin-Imamiya Station, and a panel of pitcher Ryosuke Otsu will be at Ozu Station.

Furthermore, on Monday, August 3rd, and Tuesday, August 4th, the day before and the day of the game, station staff at Namba Station, the closest station to the former Osaka Stadium site which was the home ground of the Nankai Hawks, will wear Nankai Hawks revival uniforms to enhance the event's atmosphere.

A pre-entry campaign is also being held for "minapita members (free registration)". 50 pairs (100 people) will receive spectator tickets, and 5 people will receive signed baseballs from players.

On August 3rd (Mon) and 4th (Tue) from 13:00 to 21:00, station staff (excluding some) working at Namba Station will wear replica uniforms designed identically to the "Nankai Hawks Revival Uniform 1959 - '68" worn by players at the "Nankai Hawks Revival Night in Osaka (held August 4th)" to boost excitement for the event.

*The game will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Namba Station is not the nearest station.
