Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is a dream of "Nail Health Inc."

Nail Health Inc. (Headquarters: Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture; Representative Director: Aki Suehiro), led by a Certified Nail Function Improvement Specialist®, has a grand dream of "reducing the number of people suffering from nail problems worldwide through both knowledge and product approaches." What we aim to popularize is not "nail art for beauty" but "nail knowledge and techniques related to health." By collaborating with health-related schools and vocational schools in various countries to spread this knowledge and technology globally, we aim to solve social issues such as extending people's healthy lifespans, preventing injuries and improving performance for athletes to prolong their careers, reducing medical costs through pre-disease approaches, and reducing CO2 emissions associated with medical procedures.

## Our Origin: The 2005 Event That "Beauty Nails" Couldn't Save
Behind the formulation of our company's vision are two unforgettable origins. It began in 2005 when I encountered a deformed toenail of a young soccer player. At that time, I was deeply troubled by the reality that "nail techniques for beauty" were completely ineffective in addressing his nail problem, and I felt powerless. From there, I began days of relearning anatomy and physiology from scratch, reading medical books, attending doctors' lectures, and researching papers from around the world.

## Product Development Initiated to Save One High School Baseball Player
While continuing research and support on-site, I then faced the reality of a high school baseball player suffering from blisters and cracked nails on his fingertips. Commercial products and existing nail oils could not address the condition of his fingertips, leading to a strong desire to help those "who couldn't be reached." With the cooperation of research institutions and universities in Niigata, as well as local companies, I embarked on development myself, resulting in the birth of the protective cosmetic "Re.Pro Mac Serum."

It's a moisturizer that allows you to play catch immediately after application. It moisturizes but has a quick-drying formula. It can also repair damage to the nail surface and the skin around the nails.
That is Re.Pro Mac Serum.

## Steps Towards the Dream: Collaboration with Educational Institutions Worldwide and the Challenge of Training Practitioners
From these experiences, we are convinced that it is essential not only to create excellent "products" but also to pass on the correct "knowledge and techniques" of care to the next generation. The core of our global expansion to educational institutions will be the following two educational programs:

1. "Maruto Methodology®"
This is a nail care method jointly developed by Representative Aki Suehiro and Maruto Hasegawa Kosakujo Co., Ltd., a manufacturing company in Niigata. Through proper nail clipping and nail care, participants learn the foundation for health, beauty, and sports performance.

2. "Mac Brand Nail Education Program"
This is a practical educational program that further refines the sports field of "Maruto Methodology" by incorporating the extensive on-site experience and verification of former Major League Baseball player Mac Suzuki.

Going forward, we aim to introduce these theories not only in Japan but also as official curricula in health-related schools and vocational schools in various countries. Furthermore, to contribute to the development of future toenail care technology, we will actively engage in "developing teaching materials for training practitioners" with reliable skills.

By deploying these two approaches – knowledge and products – on a global scale, we will change the reality where "small nail problems lead to big life problems." When nails change, life changes. Please look forward to Nail Health Inc.'s challenge to make the world healthy from the ground up.
