## Interview with LiLi about the Collaboration
**Q. Please tell us your thoughts and enthusiasm regarding this collaboration.**
I have always loved "LAGUA GEM," so I was truly happy when I received this offer. Actually, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I even considered working at their shop (laughs), that's how special the brand is to me.
Because of that, I had a very strong feeling of "I want to make something really good!" I constantly worried about how to strike the right balance of maintaining the LAGUA GEM vibe while also properly showing my own identity.
Since it was my first time making clothes from scratch under my own name, it was honestly super difficult (laughs). But because of that, I think "we were able to merge things nicely."
**Q. How is your personal style expressed in this collection?**
Originally, I like a "slightly cluttered feel." This time as well, I mixed various materials and patterns like lace and checks, making sure to include my style, while toning down the colors to fit the atmosphere of LAGUA GEM.
Usually, my outfits are more colorful and flashy, but this time I intentionally kept the tones subdued, being conscious of the balance: "It blends well within LAGUA GEM, but it still feels like me." I was allowed to choose all the fabrics myself, and proceeded while cherishing the feeling of "Isn't this combination cute?!"
**Q. Are there any points you'd like people to pay special attention to, or thoughts you put into this collection?**
For these items, I was highly conscious of making "everything the main character." I wanted to create clothes that make people think "This person looks cool" just by incorporating one piece.
At first glance, some people might feel "This looks a bit difficult to wear?" but once they put it on, it should fit surprisingly well. Like, "Oh, this actually works" (laughs). I would be happy if people who don't usually take risks with fashion think "I might want to try wearing this," and I hope these clothes can be a catalyst for them to discover a slightly new version of themselves.

This time, the collection is truly packed with everything I "love" just as it is. I made it with the feeling of "Everyone will definitely love this, right?" (laughs).
