"Higashi Betsuin Terrace Hall" is Born Next to Nagoya TV! "Higashi Betsuin Hall" in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Reopens. The Opening Performance is Confirmed as "Nagoya TV Rakugo: Tsukitei Hosei Rakugo Meet" on May 9th!

Equipment and facilities such as acoustics and lighting have been completely updated, transforming it into a much easier-to-use hall in terms of production and stage progression safety.

The opening performance of the reborn hall has been decided as the "Nagoya TV Rakugo: Tsukitei Hosei Rakugo Meet". A luxurious co-performance with special guest Tatekawa Shiraku will be realized.

From "Higashi Betsuin Hall" to "Higashi Betsuin Terrace Hall". Three meanings embedded in the name.

・ Brightly illuminating (terasu) the daily life and future of the local community through various events and interactions

・ A Terrace where many people casually gather beyond genres

・ "Tera's" representing a temple's hall (utilizing the historical and cultural assets of the temple to meet modern needs)

Key Points of the Renovation

・ The interior around the stage has been revamped with a black base

・ A wide range of productions are now possible with the introduction of the latest acoustic, lighting, and visual equipment

・ The audience seats (movable) have been renewed. Flexible for multi-purpose use such as exhibitions and art shows, not just stage lives and lectures, through removal and rearrangement.
