Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER (Location: Nagoya, Aichi; Operator: Nagoya TV Tower Co., Ltd.) will hold a special event, 'Nyantomo Mamekona Mirai Tower', starting April 22 (Wed) to commemorate the appointment of popular manga artist Mamekichi Mameko, who resides in Nagoya, Aichi, as its PR Ambassador.

Mamekichi Mameko, a highly popular blogger and manga artist born and currently residing in Nagoya, is widely active based in Nagoya, running a blog boasting over 70 million monthly PVs and publishing manga and picture books. Through having Mamekichi Mameko serve as the PR Ambassador for Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, we will once again widely broadcast the charm of the tower. By having people enjoy a fun time at the tower during this special event, we aim to become an even more beloved landmark of Nagoya City among the local community.

The special event will feature various collaboration plans, including a special exhibition at the observatory featuring original illustrations of the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER drawn by Mamekichi Mameko, the installation of a large photo spot at Hisaya-odori Park, and first-come-first-served giveaways.
