【About the Five Flavors】

Ryukyu Warabimochi – Brown Sugar

Brown sugar is made by boiling down sugarcane juice. Enjoy its rich depth and gentle sweetness.

Ryukyu Warabimochi – Mango

Mango is a representative fruit of Okinawa and one of the world's three most beautiful fruits. Savor its intense sweetness and rich aroma.

Ryukyu Warabimochi – Pineapple

The Chinese characters originate from the fruit's resemblance to a phoenix's feathers. Enjoy the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.

Ryukyu Warabimochi – Shiikwasa (Okinawan Citrus)

The name comes from the Okinawan dialect phrase 'Shii (sour) Kuwasa (makes you eat).' Made with freshly squeezed green citrus juice, offering a pleasant tang.

Ryukyu Warabimochi – Purple Sweet Potato

Showcasing the vibrant reddish-purple hue unique to purple sweet potatoes, while delivering their signature creamy, sticky texture.

【About the Packaging】

The vermilion (red) color of the packaging is inspired by Shuri Castle.

About Nagomi no Yoneya (Yoneya Co., Ltd.)

Founded in 1899 (Meiji 32), the company began by creating 'Kuri Yōkan' (chestnut yōkan), inspired by 'Kurikinton'—a Buddhist vegetarian dish from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple—using local chestnuts, and selling it as a souvenir for temple visitors. Today, we produce a wide range of confections, including yōkan, peanuts mochi, dorayaki, and seasonal fresh sweets.
