■ About Nagomi no Komeya (Yoneya Co., Ltd.)
Founded in 1899 (Meiji 32). It began when inspired by 'Kurikan', a Buddhist vegetarian dish from Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, they created 'Kuri Yokan' by kneading local Shiba chestnuts and sold it as a souvenir for visitors to Naritasan. They produce a variety of confections, including yokan, peanut monaka, dorayaki, and seasonal fresh sweets.
