■ About Nagomi no Yoneya (Yoneya Co., Ltd.)

Founded in 1899 (Meiji 32). It began when they created "Kuri Yokan" (Chestnut Yokan) by kneading local Shiba chestnuts into the sweet, inspired by "Kuri-kan", a vegetarian dish at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and sold it as a souvenir for visitors to Naritasan. They make various sweets such as yokan, peanut monaka, dorayaki, and seasonal fresh sweets.
