"Current Issues in Marketing Research, Part 4: Challenges in Research Innovation"
Marketing research has long played a crucial role as the foundation for corporate decision-making and understanding consumers. However, in recent years, the environment surrounding marketing research has been changing at an unprecedented speed due to the acceleration of digitalization, diversification of consumer behavior, and the rise of new technologies such as AI.
Amidst these changes, we involved in research are facing various challenges. The reality of increasing difficulty in securing survey respondents, concerns about data quality, and the fundamental question of "are we truly understanding consumers?" These issues also serve as an opportunity to re-examine the very value of research.
Therefore, this seminar, titled "Current Issues in Marketing Research," will unravel these challenges one by one in a 5-part series. We are honored to have Masayuki Hagiwara, who has led the research industry for many years, as our speaker to explain the essence of these challenges and how to address them.
