Survey on Salt/Sodium: Nearly 70% Associate Salt with High Blood Pressure, Almost 60% are Mindful of Intake

A survey by MyVoiceCom Co., Ltd. reveals that nearly 70% of Japanese consumers associate salt with high blood pressure, and almost 60% consciously manage their intake. These findings indicate a strong market demand for low-sodium products, particularly in categories like soy sauce and miso. This data provides crucial insights for Taiwanese food manufacturers in developing product and marketing strategies, as similar health-conscious trends are prevalent in the Taiwanese market.
