◆ Internet Ads Displayed in the Past Year
In the past year, internet ads displayed during internet use were (multiple responses): "Banner ads" at 71.2%, "Video ads" and "Ads displayed between content or articles" at over 50% each.

"Ads that require viewing to read or watch" were higher among women, particularly noticeable among women aged 30-50s. "Ads displayed on social media timelines" were common among younger demographics, and "Ads in smartphone apps or games that offer items or rewards" were more common among women aged 30-40s.

Among those who were shown internet ads in the past year, about 30% read the content ("usually read" or "sometimes read"). The proportion was higher among women aged 10-20s.
