Mysurance Certified as MoE's 'LiB Partner' for Battery Safety

Mysurance Inc., a subsidiary of Sompo Japan, announced its certification as a 'LiB Partner' by the Ministry of the Environment (MoE). This initiative recognizes entities that promote the prevention of fire accidents caused by lithium-ion batteries (LiB). As mobile battery fires have led to total building losses in some insurance cases, Mysurance is conducting awareness surveys on liability risks and safe handling to educate the public and support government efforts in accident prevention.
