LeadInx, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Kashiwoka; hereinafter "LeadInx"), a fintech subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., and Mysurance Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroomi Shimizu; hereinafter "Mysurance"), a small-amount short-term insurance subsidiary of Sompo Japan Insurance Inc., have begun a proof-of-concept (PoC) trial to verify the effectiveness of an "Insurance Claim AI Assistant" in a real-world business environment. The companies have been planning and developing this tool since September 2025, with the primary goal of providing customers with a more intuitive and accessible insurance claim service. ■ Background While the insurance industry has seen rapid digitalization in recent years, several challenges have emerged in the online self-service insurance claim and accident reporting process: ・The high volume of input fields required for claims creates a burden for customers. ・The process can be difficult for customers who are not comfortable with smartphone operations. ・Insufficient information or incomplete documentation often leads to additional follow-up requests and resubmissions. Mysurance, which operates entirely online for both policy enrollment and claims, has defined "clarity" as its core quality standard. To realize a more intuitive claims experience, Mysurance partnered with LeadInx to initiate this project. ■ Overview of the PoC In this PoC, the companies are building an "Insurance Claim AI Assistant" that integrates three AI agents to verify its effectiveness in a live environment. By combining generative AI support with AI-OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Large Language Model (LLM) technology, the multi-agent system aims to simplify the claims process for customers. 1. Customer Support Agent: Conducts interviews in a conversational format to gather accident details, reducing the burden on customers through a simple Q&A flow. 2. Accident Reception Agent: Analyzes the accident report, checks for completeness and consistency, and prompts for missing information in real-time. 3. Document Review Agent: Uses AI-OCR and LLM technology to classify documents and check image quality, automatically detecting missing or blurry documents to provide immediate feedback during the submission stage. ■ Roles of Each Company ・LeadInx: Provides the digital insurance infrastructure and drives insurance DX. Responsible for generative AI design, AI architecture construction, and providing the SaaS environment. ・Mysurance: Develops and provides digital-first insurance products and actively integrates AI.
