The survey reveals that 44% feel their household budget is tight, with the average household income at 7.92 million yen compared to an ideal 11.06 million yen. The younger generation (20s) tends to have less overtime but spends more time on housework, showing a strong desire to balance both work and family. Additionally, about 30% of respondents desire a promotion, primarily to increase their income while maintaining work-life balance.
