Mynavi Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Shunsuke Awai) has announced the results of the 'Work-Life Integration* Survey of Regular Employees 2026 Edition (2025 Results)', conducted among regular employees aged 20 to 59.
*What is 'Work-Life Integration (WLI)'?
The concept of enriching both work and private life to enrich life as a whole.
It is an idea that has been gaining attention in recent years, developing from 'Work-Life Balance (WLB)', which considers work and private life separately, and aiming to enrich both to create a synergistic effect. [Figure 1]

◆ About 70% of regular employees feel that 'fulfillment in private life' and 'fulfillment in work' are connected. A slight increase of +0.6pt from the previous year. [Figure 2]
◆ About 20% of regular employees have achieved WLI, almost the same as last year. Factors for realization include flexibility in working hours and locations. [Figures 3, 4]
◆ Those who have achieved WLI tend to be satisfied with both work and private life, and have high motivation to work. [Figures 5, 6]
◆ About 70% of regular employees feel that 'fulfillment in private life' and 'fulfillment in work' are connected. A slight increase of +0.6pt from the previous year.
When regular employees in their 20s to 50s were asked about the relationship between fulfillment in their private lives and their work, 69.8% answered 'I feel that fulfillment in my private life and fulfillment in my work are connected (total)', a slight increase from the previous year (69.2%).
Although no major changes were seen from the previous year, the situation where a majority of people 'feel that fulfillment in their private life and work are connected' seems to be continuing this year. [Figure 2]
【Figure 2】
◆ About 20% of regular employees have achieved WLI, almost the same as last year. Factors for realization include flexibility in working hours and locations.
The percentage of those who answered that WLB is 'realized*1' was 39.1% (+3.6pt YoY), with those in their 20s being the highest at 46.7%.
On the other hand, the percentage of those who have 'realized' WLI decreased slightly to 20.1% (-0.9pt YoY), but no major change was seen from the previous year.
Looking at the reasons why WLI is 'realized', there were many voices mentioning the flexibility of working hours and locations, such as 'taking hourly leave' and 'utilizing telework', and there were also answers such as operational efficiency through 'utilization of AI' and 'studying for qualifications' having a positive impact on work.
On the other hand, for the reasons why it is 'not realized', answers mentioning 'a lot of overtime' and 'few holidays' stood out.
There were also answers mentioning situations where it is difficult to separate work and private life, such as 'getting contacted even on days off'.
Since WLI is predicated on having a flexible work environment where WLB can be achieved,
