◆Regarding the use of real-name SNS, 'do not want to use' in job hunting surpasses 'want to use' for the first time in 7 years
When asked how much they wanted to use real-name social media/SNS in job hunting, 51.7% of students responded 'do not want to use' (including 'not much' + 'definitely not'), which exceeded the 48.3% who responded 'want to use' (including 'actively' + 'to a certain extent'). This is the first time since the 2020 graduating class (7 years ago) that 'do not want to use' has surpassed 'want to use'. ◆Regarding the greatest strength in job hunting for male science students, 'perseverance and tenacity' surpasses 'specialized knowledge learned at school,' which was traditionally the top strength

[Comment from the Survey Representative]
(Image omitted)
The survey results show that many students graduating in 2027 'do not want to use' SNS for job hunting. It seems they want to keep job hunting separate from their daily lives, where they frequently use SNS for hobbies like supporting their favorite idols, gathering information, and interacting with friends. Furthermore, regarding the greatest strength in job hunting for science students, it's possible that as AI utilization becomes widespread and access to specialized knowledge becomes easier, the value of 'perseverance and tenacity' has relatively increased.
Thus, students graduating in 2027 are approaching job hunting while valuing their private lives and seeking their own strengths that won't be overshadowed by the evolution of AI.
