In the handicraft industry, there are not many cases where players from different fields collaborate to plan products.
MY mama Co., Ltd. realized a project to plan original fabrics and collaboration kits through a collaboration between three parties active in the different fields of ribbons, cartonnage, and handicraft sales.
This initiative was realized by MY mama Co., Ltd. consolidating projects that were previously progressing individually.
It represents a new attempt where fields that had never intersected before join hands.
## ■ A New Initiative of a 3-Party Collaboration
The following three parties are participating in this project:
- M-StyleLuxe General Incorporated Association (Ribbon Association)
- Keym Co., Ltd. (Cartonnage class management)
- MY mama Co., Ltd. (Planning and sales of handicraft supplies)
## ■ Why This Project Was Born
This project originated from two projects that were originally progressing on different axes.
For the initiative with the Ribbon Association, it started with selecting which pattern to adopt from Liberty fabrics.
We pursued the pattern that would look most beautiful within the limited area of a ribbon, and held numerous meetings to achieve nuanced colors that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults.
On the other hand, regarding the lame broadcloth, while looking for a lame fabric to combine with the patterned fabrics used in cartonnage, we found that it matched the materials handled by MY mama Co., Ltd. in the past, leading to this collaboration.
Since the initial fabric was thick and somewhat unsuitable for cartonnage, we custom-ordered a change from a sheeting material to a more manageable broadcloth.
Furthermore, related parties from both projects added the suggestion that "combining the two fabrics brings out more charm," and we adjusted the colors and balance so that they harmonize whether used individually or combined.
## ■ Two Fabrics Born from the Perspectives of Each Field
In this project, we planned two types of fabrics for different purposes.
