Celebrating 10th Anniversary & TV Anime Adaptation Decision!! Popular Comic "Tanuki to Kitsune" with Over 1.3 Million Copies Sold Appears at Frontier Works Booth at AnimeJapan2026!

Delivering new information from Frontier Works Inc. (Animate Group)! Frontier Works Inc. (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Masahide Tsuji; hereinafter referred to as "Frontier Works") exhibited at "AnimeJapan2026," one of the world's largest anime events, held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 (Saturday) and 29 (Sunday), 2026.

The highlight of this year's Frontier Works booth was the popular comic "Tanuki to Kitsune" (Author: Atamoto), which has surpassed 1.3 million copies in series cumulative sales, celebrated its 10th anniversary, and is set for a TV anime adaptation in October 2026!

We hope many people enjoyed the world of "Tanuki to Kitsune" to their fullest and experienced our interactive booth that both adults and children could enjoy together. Here's a report from the day's event.

[Theme: "Co-Play"! A Welcoming Space for Parents and Children to Play Together] The main attraction this time was undoubtedly the interactive content that families could enjoy together!

The venue featured a "Fox Tail" photo spot that made people want to take pictures, along with gorgeous flower art and canvas boards!

Furthermore, as a fun event, we held an SNS follow & survey campaign where participants could receive fortunes and novelty items based on their luck.

This year, we're introducing "Tanuki to Kitsune" to the "Family Anime Festa" for the first time! We set up a "coloring corner" where you can color, cut, and paste wonderful items that color the world of Tanuki to Kitsune, and a "face-in-panel" for taking photos together.

We also participated in the character photo session, which was a highlight of the Family Anime Festa. Many people took photos, and Tanuki and Kitsune were all smiles.
