The last album 'Hua Doll* 4th season Human or Doll: Answer,' released on Friday, December 26, 2025, marked the official conclusion of the 'Hua Doll*' project. To commemorate this culmination, a completion-themed talk event was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 'animate hall BLACK' on the 9th floor of animate Ikebukuro Main Store.

The event featured Seiichiro Yamashita, who plays Yuki Maori in 'Anthos*', Daiki Hamano, who plays Ryoga Kagekawa, and Shun Horie, who plays Setsuna Yashiro. A special reading play depicting the story after the conclusion was also performed, creating a moving moment fitting for the work's finale.

Animate Times conducted interviews with Yamashita, Hamano, and Horie immediately after the event. They shared their feelings upon concluding the event, their thoughts on the characters they have portrayed for about seven years, and their affection for the work.

### "A Work That Brought Me Much Learning and Growth, Irreplaceable to Me"

**— Please tell us your frank feelings now that the commemorative completion event has ended.**

Daiki Hamano (hereinafter Hamano), who plays Ryoga Kagekawa: Of course, there's a sense of sadness after the event. However, this work was designed with a finale firmly in place from the beginning, so I am truly happy that it could conclude in a beautiful form as a story. Furthermore, being able to continue playing Ryoga for so long has been a very happy experience in itself.

Shun Horie (hereinafter Horie), who plays Setsuna Yashiro: At the time of the final recording and ADR, I didn't really feel like 'this is the end.' But after finishing today's event, I felt refreshed, having reached a beautiful conclusion.

The cast and staff had a very good relationship in this project, and I felt a bond that is hard to experience in other works. That's why it's sad to see it end, but even more so, the realization and gratitude for being involved in this wonderful work are immense.

Seiichiro Yamashita (hereinafter Yamashita), who plays Yuki Maori: As I mentioned in the evening show, thinking that this might be the last opportunity to introduce myself as 'Yuki Maori, Seiichiro Yamashita,' brings tears to my eyes more than just sadness. It was such a special time that I feel I'll never experience anything like it again.

It's truly precious for a content to continue for 6 or 7 years, and seeing the fans' reactions today, I truly felt how fortunate we were. While I'm finally starting to feel the end, I also feel 'I've done my best. I have no regrets.'

**— Please tell us again about your feelings for the characters you've played for many years.**

Hamano: Ryoga is a mentally very mature character, and there were many aspects where I felt he was more adult than myself. His approach to work and human relationships was always respectable, and he was someone who made me want to be like him.

I believe we had a relationship where we could push each other to do better, thinking 'Because Ryoga is working hard, I will too.' He is a precious character who will remain within me forever.

Horie: Actually, I first learned I would be appearing in 'Hua Doll*' when someone at another recording site said, 'Please continue to do well in 'Hua Doll*'' (laughs). At the time, I thought, 'Oh, I get to be in that project, that's great.' But after actually getting involved, I experienced so many emotions, including hardship alongside joy. I feel like I walked a path I never imagined.

Also, it's rare to have a character I've spent so much time with, so Setsuna is an unforgettable existence for me. I sincerely hope that the moments and time he lived as Setsuna were happy for him.

Yamashita: Maori, and this project as a whole, were like a second or third family to me. The regular recording sessions and other work were something to look forward to, and an opportunity to motivate myself, so just having that cycle was happiness in itself.

There were times when I practiced hard for recordings, or felt anxious facing difficulties, but in each instance, it was an environment that made me think 'I have to try harder,' and ultimately, I grew significantly myself. The time spent walking hand-in-hand with Maori is truly a treasure.

**— Lastly, please give a message to all the fans who love 'Hua Doll*'.**

Hamano: Thank you all so much for supporting 'Anthos*' and 'Loulou*di' for 7 years. This work is a story with various facets hidden behind its glamour, and I'm sure there were painful developments for you, our supporters, at times.

Nevertheless, the characters were able to reach a memorable ending precisely because of your support, and we, the cast, always felt that support. While I may no longer have the opportunity to stand on stage as Ryoga, I would be happy if you continue to love this work as beings connected by the chains of our souls.

Horie: Although there is sadness in reaching this point of conclusion, I feel even more exhilarated. It's precisely because I have the realization that I was able to fully depict and perform their drama that I am filled with positive emotions right now. I would be happy if you, too, could feel proud of the time you spent loving and following this work.

... By the way, we still have a little fun planned, you know (laughs). We're planning to go out for a meal with the 'Hua Doll*' members soon.

Hamano: Ah, that's a spoiler (laughs).

Horie: I'm really looking forward to it... (laughs). Once again, I want to express my gratitude to all the fans for your support up to this point. Thank you so much.

**— Finally, Yamashita-san, please give a message to the fans.**

Yamashita: I feel anew that 'Anthos*' is a unit where the charm of each of the seven members complements each other. There was a sense of the roles and the performers becoming linked, and I think this relationship was born precisely because of this group of members. It's a work that brought me much learning and growth, and an irreplaceable treasure to me. I feel like I've received an answer regarding the way content should be.

Honestly, there were still many songs I wanted to perform in front of you all. But it's free for us and for the Antholic members to have such feelings, isn't it? Although the conclusion has been reached, I would be happy if you continue to enjoy it in your own ways, such as by listening to the music or recalling the work.

Just as Maori and the others found their answer at the end of the story and continue to live on, I too will strive to walk forward. Thank you for your continued support of 'Hua Doll*'.
