Anime Music Festival 'LisAni! LIVE on TOKYO ANIME MUSIC HIGHLIGHTS' Held with 6 Artist Acts

On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the 'LisAni! LIVE on TOKYO ANIME MUSIC HIGHLIGHTS' took place at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO as a special event for the 'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026' (MAJ) week, which is one of the largest international music award festivals in Japan.

The MAJ week features various stages for artist performances, seminars, and showcases by music industry professionals from Japan and abroad. This concert featured performances by: Cometic (from The Idolmaster Shiny Colors), Masayoshi Oishi, TrySail, MyGO!!!!!, Guilty Kiss and Saint Snow (from Love Live! Sunshine!!), and TeddyLoid (Special DJ SET). Continuing the tradition of the 'LisAni! LIVE' festival that began in 2010, the event delivered the forefront of Japanese anime music with an immersive, all-live band performance.

Opening the concert was Guilty Kiss, a unit from the school idol project 'Love Live! Sunshine!!' consisting of Aqours members Rikako Aida (as Riko Sakurauchi), Aika Kobayashi (as Yoshiko Tsushima), and Aina Suzuki (as Mari Ohara). For this event, Rikako Aida and Aika Kobayashi performed. Dressed in gothic outfits amidst rising flames, the pair captivated the audience with a passionate performance using mic stands for the hard-rock style 'Strawberry Trapper,' then switched gears to the cooling groove of 'Guilty Night, Guilty Kiss!' They also performed the disco-tinged 'New Romantic Sailors,' fully embodying their characters and emphasizing the unique style of anime music.

Following them was TrySail, a female voice actor unit comprising Momo Asakura, Sora Amamiya, and Shiina Natsukawa, who have continued to shine following their 10th-anniversary year. Opening with 'Hananai Kyori' (OP theme for 'Aharen-san wa Hakarenai'), where they showcased their vocal versatility, they then performed 'Utsuroi,' the theme song for the main story part II of the smartphone game 'Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story.' They later brought the heat with the OP theme for 'High Free Spirits,' fueling a passionate harmony, and closed their set with the energetic ska-style anthem 'adrenaline!!!' (ED theme for 'Eromanga Sensei'), running across the stage and creating explosive excitement.

Next to appear was Cometic, an idol unit from 'The Idolmaster Shiny Colors' featuring Rina Kawaguchi (as Ruka Ikaruga), Kazuki Mikawa (as Hana Suzuki), and Reina Ozawa (as Haruki Ikuta). Known for performances that transcend traditional idol cuteness, they brought a dark and pop vibe with smoke and eerie visuals for their latest track 'I Know,' followed by 'Dei Dei Mei Mei,' which confounded the audience with sudden stylistic shifts. They also showcased their unique world-building with 'Hanamuke no Hanataba,' creating a sentimental atmosphere with colorful flower graphics, and concluded with the intense band sound of 'Mujikaku A-priori.'

Also from 'Love Live! Sunshine!!' was the Hokkaido-based school idol unit Saint Snow, rivals to Aqours. Asami Tano (as Seira Kazuno) and Hinata Sato (as Ria Kazuno) showed perfectly synchronized performance skills. They started with the powerful mixture-rock tune 'SELF CONTROL!!' and immediately transitioned into the speed-metal 'DROPOUT!?' with breakdowns. They finished their high-energy set with a band arrangement of 'Dazzling White Town,' featuring modern vocals and rap elements.

World-renowned DJ/Producer TeddyLoid performed a special DJ set focusing on tracks he produced. Amidst heavy smoke effects, he shook the arena with a remix of 'Fly Away' from 'Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt,' followed by 'Pikkan!' and Ado's 'Show (TeddyLoid Remix),' turning the arena into a dance floor with aggressive EDM. He also touched upon the Vocaloid scene with DECO*27's 'monitoring,' and built up to an epic climax with 'VIVID WORLD (Noi Remix).' He concluded with another remix of 'Fly Away' and Ado's 'Odori (TeddyLoid Remix),' demonstrating his fusion of anime music and cutting-edge dance sounds.
