The largest international music award in Japan, 'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026' (MAJ), will hold its award ceremony on Saturday, June 13. We have officially announced the hosts for the Premiere Ceremony, Kasumi Mori and Atsushi Yanaka, along with seven performance artists: Cup of Joe, Hindia, STUTS (feat. Kohjiya, Hana Hope), THE SPELLBOUND × BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, and Hiromi Uehara. *Artists are listed in numerical, alphabetical, and Japanese syllabary order. *Performance artists will appear regardless of whether they win an award. Under the concept of 'Connecting with the world and lighting the future of music,' the ceremony will take place on June 13. The Premiere Ceremony, starting at 1:00 PM, will be broadcast live on TOKYO MX, streamed globally via YouTube (excluding some regions), and available on NTT Docomo's Lemino, ABEMA, and radiko. Short-form content will also be distributed on platforms like Spotify, TikTok, X, and YouTube. The ceremony will feature special performances by Asian stars Cup of Joe and Hindia, alongside Japanese acts STUTS, THE SPELLBOUND × BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, and Hiromi Uehara. The event will announce winners across approximately 60 categories, bringing together a star-studded lineup of nominees.
