[Musashino University] ~Recruiting Participants~ Observe Constellations with DIY Telescopes and Experience Programming! Enjoy Learning Together with Parents and Children at the 'Summer Parent-Child Class' to be Held on August 1st (Sat), 2nd (Sun), and 3rd (Mon) at Musashino Campus

Musashino University (Tokyo, Nishitokyo City, President: Seiko Konishi) is offering summer parent-child classes as part of its efforts to nurture 'pillars of society' of all ages and promote learning for parents and children. The classes will be held on August 1st (Sat), 2nd (Sun), and 3rd (Mon).

This time, we have prepared a total of 12 lectures in various fields by faculty members of the Faculty of Education. These include a wind chime making class for preschoolers, a programming class where children can move a car, and an astronomy class where participants can observe stars using a DIY telescope. We have prepared various classes that parents and children can enjoy together.

In addition, we have prepared various classes such as experiencing playing grand pianos and South American percussion instruments installed at our university, and enjoying dyeing and dancing. We look forward to your participation.

~Experience the World of Stars with a Planetarium and Telescope~

We will observe the summer sky with a professional planetarium. The explanation of the planetarium will be given by Mr. Kita, an experienced expert from (Inc.) Bee and Plain Astronomy Club and a star gazer. We will also experience basic telescope operation using a digital microscope. This summer, let's experience feeling the real starry sky up close. (Material fee: 1,500 yen)
