Musashino University (Koto Ward, Tokyo; Nishi-Tokyo City, Tokyo; President: Seiko Konishi) is currently working to improve campus livability. As part of these efforts, starting in April, the university will launch the '100 Yen Breakfast Project' targeting its students at the 'LOHAS Cafe (Ariake)' and the student cafeteria (Musashino) on campus. This project aims to provide economic support to students amidst continuing price hikes and also to encourage the habit of eating breakfast. To implement this project, campus cafes and cafeterias will open before their usual operating hours in the morning. A special breakfast menu, considering nutritional balance, will be developed. By having students pay a nominal fee of 100 yen instead of offering it for free, we hope to foster a sense of gratitude towards those providing the meals. Furthermore, we aim to encourage the habit of coming to campus a little earlier to eat breakfast, thereby promoting stable daily rhythms and improved health, contributing to a more fulfilling campus life. Moving forward, the university will continue to create a campus that offers more experiences and interactions, making it an attractive place to be. Starting with this project, future plans include the effective utilization of vacant classrooms and the creation of spaces where students can interact daily. 【Related Links】
