About our in-house AI "MRAG" and our value proposition

"MRAG" is an in-house AI tool uniquely developed by Musashino Co., Ltd., available in a secure environment. It is designed with the objectives of "creating a system where the workplace runs even without the president" and "ensuring management plans are thoroughly understood by all employees." Utilizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology, the AI references vast internal data such as in-house manuals, past meeting minutes, and management plans for thorough numerical control.

Our greatest strength lies in having built a corporate culture where all employees, from part-time workers to seniors over 60, routinely use generative AI, despite 90% of our workforce being non-IT personnel. We do not just provide an AI tool. By transferring the "hands-on know-how for AI adoption that anyone can use," which we painstakingly built in our own workplace, to client companies through consulting, we support organizational development that improves the performance of adopting companies.

Amid the urgent need for AI adoption to improve productivity in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), our company's advanced case, where all employees routinely utilize AI and it has become ingrained in the corporate culture, not just a mere system implementation, attracted interest, leading to this hearing by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency.

Our real-world insights are drawing attention as a reference model for promoting DX among SMEs across Japan.

2. Details of "MRAG" new features and updates

New features that reflect feedback from the field and achieve both the elimination of reliance on specific individuals and improved operational efficiency will be released sequentially.

① Global Use Cases (Use Case Sharing Function) (Implemented on 2026/3/13)

Shares excellent in-house AI utilization cases with other MRAG-implementing companies. Accelerates the horizontal deployment of utilization cases between companies.

② Prompt Assistant Function (Implemented on 2026/3/20)

AI assists in giving instructions to the AI itself. This creates an environment where even employees unfamiliar with AI can create highly accurate prompts.

③ Voice Transcription Function (Scheduled for release on 2026/4/20)

Instantly transcribes long meetings (approx. 2 hours) or business negotiations into text. This elevates audio data into valuable management information assets, such as visualizing customer insights or utilizing it in interviews.

④ Expansion of "Smart Slide" for automated presentation material creation

The AI-powered slide generation function "Smart Slide," linked with MRAG, will be fully launched. It instantly and seamlessly converts generated answers into slides.

●Internal use start: Company-wide deployment from April 3.

●Customer management function implementation: Provision to client companies will begin from April 15.

The beta version will be offered to clients for free initially, aiming for service launch after May.

3. Strengthening Security and Governance

We will establish the highest level of security to ensure confidential information can be used safely with AI in business operations.

●Authority Management (Supervisor Function): Sets appropriate access rights according to organizational hierarchy. (Scheduled for end of April)

●File History Deletion Function: Developing a history deletion function to maintain the confidentiality of uploaded data.

4. Challenge to Next-Generation AI "Agentic AI"

Function proposals for "Agentic AI" (AI Agent Collaboration), where AI autonomously performs tasks, will be reflected in the staging environment by the end of April.

We will further accelerate development aimed at automating complex business processes in SMEs.
