MTG Co., Ltd., headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, announced that the cumulative number of hotel rooms equipped with products from its beauty brand, ReFa, has exceeded 110,000 as of March 31, 2026. The data was collected from December 2021 to March 2026. The "ReFa Room" service, launched in 2021, has seen widespread adoption, initially in luxury hotels and high-end ryokans, and later expanding to urban business hotels and regional accommodations. This expansion is driven by the increasing importance of in-room amenities, particularly high-performance beauty products like ReFa's fine bubble showers and high-performance dryers, which enhance guest satisfaction and the quality of rest during travel. A survey on beauty and wellness in travel, conducted by JTB Research Institute from December 16 to December 17, 2025, targeting 500 men and women aged 20-60 who travel at least three times a year, found that approximately one in 2.3 guests who experienced high-performance beauty items in hotels subsequently purchased or acquired ReFa products. This indicates that comfortable in-hotel experiences are influencing daily beauty routines and purchasing decisions. The survey also highlighted that environmentally conscious travelers prioritize ethical initiatives by accommodations, and high-performance beauty amenities significantly impact satisfaction and facility evaluation. ReFa aims to continue enhancing the value of stays by deepening collaborations with accommodations and developing products and services that offer pleasant beauty experiences both during travel and in daily life. A special feature page by JTB showcasing accommodations where ReFa products can be experienced is scheduled to be published on April 21, 2026, at https://www.jtb.co.jp/kokunai/theme/refa/. Inquiries regarding ReFa product introductions can be made via https://mtg-pro.co.jp/refaroom/. ReFa's brand site is http://www.refa.net/, and MTG's corporate site is https://www.mtg.gr.jp/.
