MQue Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takuya Tsuda; hereinafter 'MQue'), a deep tech company that applies cutting-edge technology to social issues, has adopted the cloud platform 'Microsoft Azure' provided by Microsoft Corporation as its research and development foundation for the analysis of complex fluid phenomena and AI surrogate models, based on technology originating from the Himeno Laboratory at the University of Tokyo.
In this initiative, MQue is receiving significant technical support from Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Microsoft Japan'), and through the collaboration of both companies, we will promote the social implementation of cutting-edge simulation technology.
### ■ Background and Initiatives: Fusing Complex Fluid Simulation and AI
MQue is developing and applying state-of-the-art simulation methods targeting complex fluid phenomena such as gas-liquid two-phase flows, boiling two-phase flows, and supercritical fluids, which are becoming increasingly important in the industrial sector.
In addition to these physical simulations, we are also focusing on the research and development of 'AI surrogate models' that predict calculation results at high speed. Large-scale and flexible computing resources are essential for these advanced computational processes. By utilizing 'Microsoft Azure' as the execution environment for simulations and the training platform for AI surrogate models, MQue has realized shortened development cycles and improved accuracy.
### ■ R&D and Collaboration Track Record
Currently, MQue is promoting the aforementioned R&D and social implementation of technology in the following public projects and corporate collaborations:
NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization): 'Technology R&D Project for Discovering Seeds and Commercialization of New Energy, etc.' and 'SBIR Promotion Program (End-to-End Type)'
Private Sector Collaboration: Joint research and development with client companies in the HVAC industry, thermal equipment industry, aerospace industry, etc.
By utilizing Microsoft Azure as the development platform in these projects, under a highly reliable development environment...
