Special Bottle Commemorating 70 Years of "Cru Classé" Certification Cru Classé is a designation awarded in 1955 by the French Ministry of Agriculture to 23 wineries producing the finest wines in the Provence region. Today, only 18 wineries hold this title. The selection criteria require the production of rosé, white, and red wines, all of high quality. Receiving Cru Classé certification attests to the high quality of the château. This year, the 2025 vintage of "Cuvée Marie Christine Provence Rosé 2025" marks the 70th anniversary of the château's Cru Classé certification. It has arrived in a special commemorative bottle design, available in both 750ml and 375ml sizes. The Winery's Monument, Marie Christine *Label design is from the 2024 vintage "Marie Christine" is a special wine created in 1950 to commemorate the winery's achievements and numerous awards. The wine is named after the beloved wife of the founder's grandfather, Henri. The bottle design was created by his granddaughter, Charlotte. Inspired by the Art Nouveau works of Émile Gallé, which she loved, this design was registered as the first "original bottle" in Provence. Producer: Château de Romarade The château's origins date back to the 15th century, and it holds the prestigious history of being a supplier to the French royal court until the 18th century.
