Morisawa Reorganizes Taiwan Business and Launches New Structure "MORISAWA ARPHIC Inc."

Morisawa Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Akihiko Morisawa, Headquarters: 2-6-25 Shikitsuhigashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka; Tel: 06-6649-2151, hereinafter "Morisawa") announces that it has reorganized its business in Taiwan and transitioned to a new structure as "MORISAWA ARPHIC Inc." (Chinese company name: 森澤文鼎股份有限公司) starting April 30, 2026.

Arphic Technology Co., Ltd. (Chairman: Takeshi Morisawa, Headquarters: Taipei City, Taiwan, hereinafter "ARPHIC") was established in 1990 and became a subsidiary of Morisawa in November 2022. As a member of the Morisawa Group, ARPHIC has been developing and providing multilingual fonts, primarily Japanese and Chinese. This time, Morisawa's local Taiwanese subsidiary and ARPHIC have integrated their businesses in Taiwan and transitioned to a new structure as MORISAWA ARPHIC.

Under this new structure, the "Arphic Types" font brand will be maintained, inheriting ARPHIC's advanced technical capabilities in Chinese font design cultivated over 30 years, while integrating the Morisawa Group's global network and diverse perspectives. Sharing Morisawa's corporate philosophy of "contributing to society through type," the company will provide multilingual font solutions with diverse styles and high quality, centered on Chinese and Japanese fonts.

Moving forward, the company will strengthen its system for providing a comprehensive range of font assets and advanced technologies, from embedded fonts and custom fonts to cloud font services. Starting from this point, MORISAWA ARPHIC aims to co-create new brand value and realize rich visual experiences in collaboration with global companies and designers.

Existing contracts and services for customers and partners will continue to be available as before. The company will continue to strive for stable service provision and maintain a system that ensures peace of mind for users.
