## [30,000 Strings to Disaster-Stricken Areas - Memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake]
In 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, my father, relying on his connection with the local postmaster, delivered "knotless cat's cradle strings" to the disaster-stricken areas through the postal network. The number was approximately 30,000 strings. We were also featured by the media.

After some time, many thank-you letters arrived from kindergartens and elementary schools in the affected areas. My father read them over and over again.

I believe that cat's cradle can bring a little bit of fun to anyone, in any situation.

This conviction is the origin of our dream to "make the world smile with strings."

## [That Spirit Now Crosses the Sea - To Cambodia]
This spring, in response to a request from a high school girl in Saitama Prefecture who aspired to support children in Cambodia, and with the cooperation of an NPO, we sponsored a project to deliver approximately 30 of our "knotless cat's cradle strings" (which were specially manufactured at the time for delivery to disaster-stricken areas) to children in Cambodia.

My father, the chairman, developed the cat's cradle string with the wish that it "could help activate mothers' brains." Now, through the hands of the next generation of young people, it crosses the sea, bringing smiles to the daily lives of children in a distant land. We are excited to see the chain of connections forged by a single string quietly, slowly, but surely expanding.

Our main business is OEM manufacturing for corporate clients. Even if our name doesn't appear on products like belts and suspenders, and even if the end customers don't know that "Mori Seihimo made the product," we have long pursued only "making good products."

Now, we are channeling that technology and experience into innovative products that directly solve customers' "problems."
