The 'Walls of Fools' series has surpassed 7 million copies, and his latest work, 'Walls of Life,' has quickly become a bestseller. Takeshi Yoro, an anatomist and a great lover of insects, possesses a unique way of thinking that fascinates many. Last year, at the age of 86, he suffered from cancer, which is said to have deepened his reflections on people and life.
This program is an in-depth interview with Dr. Yoro about 'life.' What is the meaning of 'living' in the first place? What should people value in life? Why can't I live as I wish? How can we, who face the 'walls of life,' move forward? This program approaches these questions through Dr. Yoro's perspective.
In the main part, Dr. Yoro shares profound words backed by his knowledge and experience, such as 'Starting from the premise that anxiety is natural,' 'Pain is a signal from the body,' 'It's always difficult to get along with others,' 'The phrase, strong because you're unstable,' 'If you think deeply about yourself, you'll understand others,' 'True feelings always reach the other person,' 'Sometimes pain can become interesting,' 'If you open up your feelings, the other person might too,' and 'What is privacy?' We encourage you to listen during your commute, work breaks, or household chore time.
This program is also soliciting questions from listeners. If you have something you'd like to ask Dr. Yoro, please submit it via the inquiry form in the overview section or search for '養老先生が人生考えます!' on X (formerly Twitter) and apply.
