The 'Baka no Kabe' (The Wall of Idiots) series has sold over 7 million copies, and his latest book, 'Jinsei no Kabe' (The Wall of Life), is already a bestseller. Dr. Takeshi Yoro is an anatomist, a great insect enthusiast, and possesses a unique way of thinking that fascinates many. Last year, at the age of 86, he battled cancer, which is said to have further deepened his contemplation of humanity and life. This program is an attempt to thoroughly ask Dr. Yoro about 'life.' What is the meaning of 'living' in the first place? What should people value in life? Why can't I live as I wish? How should we, who hit the walls of life, move forward? We will approach these questions through Dr. Yoro's perspective.

In the main episode, you will hear Dr. Yoro's insightful words, backed by his profound knowledge and experience, on topics such as: 'Social media timelines tend to be short,' 'I don't use social media because it doesn't suit me,' 'Does the world or society as it is truly exist?,' 'There are as many filter bubbles as there are humans,' 'Aren't we accepting fixed premises without question?,' 'It's natural for emotions to be involved,' 'An era where living itself becomes a theme,' 'When you pursue living to its core, it becomes expression,' and 'What to think about the cost of cancer treatment just before death.' Please give it a listen during your commute, or in the gaps of work or housework.

This program is also seeking questions from listeners. If you have something you'd like to ask Dr. Yoro, please fill out the submission form in the description, or search for '養老先生が人生考えます!' on X (formerly Twitter) to apply.
