The "Baka no Kabe" (The Wall of Fools) series has exceeded 7 million copies in total sales, and the latest book, "Jinsei no Kabe" (The Wall of Life), has quickly become a bestseller. Dr. Takeshi Yoro is an anatomist, an avid bug lover, and possesses a unique way of thinking that fascinates many people. After battling cancer last year at the age of 86, it is said he deepened his contemplations on people and life even further.
This program is designed to ask Dr. Yoro thoroughly about "life."
What is the meaning of "living" in the first place? What should people value in life? Why can't we live exactly as we wish? How should we move forward when we hit the walls of life? Through Dr. Yoro's perspective, we approach these questions.
In the main part, profound words backed by Dr. Yoro's education and experience are spoken, such as "SNS tends to have a short time axis," "The reason I don't use SNS is because it doesn't suit me," "Does the world or society as it is truly exist?", "There are as many filter bubbles as there are humans," "Aren't we accepting fixed premises?", "It's natural for passions to enter," "An era where living itself becomes the theme," "Pursuing the act of living becomes an expression," and "How to consider the cost of cancer treatment just before passing away." Please give it a listen during your commute, work, or breaks from housework.
