Monozukuri Co-Creation Event to Foster Collaboration Between Manufacturing Companies and Startups to be Held on July 31

Monozukuri Ventures Holdings (hereinafter, Monozukuri Ventures) will hold the "Monozukuri Co-Creation ~Manufacturing Industry x Startup Co-Creation Event~" to promote co-creation between manufacturing companies and startups, as part of the initiatives of "MI Salon Aichi," an innovation community for the manufacturing industry operated by Aichi Prefecture. The event will take place on July 31, 2026 (Fri) at STATION Ai in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

This event will feature pitches from startups operating in the manufacturing sector, as well as workshops where established companies and startups will discuss concrete possibilities for collaboration and joint development. It will also promote the formation of networks that lead to new business creation and open innovation through interaction among participants.

Amidst significant changes in the manufacturing industry environment, innovation creation solely by individual companies has its limits, and expectations are growing for the creation of new value through collaboration with startups. This event aims to provide a venue for encounters and dialogue that will serve as the first step in such co-creation.

About Monozukuri Ventures

Monozukuri Ventures is a company based in Kyoto and New York that operates a VC fund for hardware startups and provides technical consulting for hardware prototyping and manufacturing.

It was launched in January 2020 by Darma Tech Labs Co., Ltd. (Kyoto City), which operates Makers Boot Camp, and FabFoundry, Inc. (New York City), by pooling the management resources of the two companies in supporting hardware startups. To date, it has invested in 59 hardware startups in Japan and the US (28 in Japan, 31 in the US). It has also supported over 250 prototyping and mass production projects, primarily for startups.
