The idea for a new limited-time product sparked from the thought, "Wouldn't it be interesting to incorporate a popular trend into Marugen Ramen?" What we focused on during the development of "Marugen Special Mala Tangmen" was its aroma. Some spices lose their fragrance when heated, but by cooking it in a pot, we can serve it piping hot while allowing customers to fully enjoy the refreshing, numbing aroma of sansho pepper, the sharp spiciness of chili peppers, and the overall appetizing scent characteristic of Mala Tang. Our proud signature product is the "Aged Soy Sauce Ramen Nikusoba." Each order is prepared in a pot with pork simmered in soup, firm homemade multi-hydrated noodles, and Japanese toppings such as yuzu kosho oroshi (grated yuzu pepper) and green onions. The key to our soup, the aged soy sauce base, is a blend of three types of soy sauce.
