CERAWeek is recognized as one of the world's largest and most influential international conferences in the energy industry, attracting over 10,000 participants from companies and organizations related to the energy sector worldwide annually. This year's conference, themed "Convergence and Competition: Energy, Technology and Geopolitics," featured leading industry representatives and government officials discussing current trends and situations in energy markets, geopolitics, AI, and digital technologies. MOL leveraged this opportunity to exchange views with numerous industry stakeholders on the future outlook of the shipping industry, energy strategies, and decarbonization. Furthermore, Suryan Wirya-Simunovic, Senior Managing Executive Officer, spoke on a panel discussion in areas where MOL holds particular strengths. This session discussed the role of LNG in light of Asia's economic growth and increasing electricity demand. Suryan Wirya-Simunovic, Senior Managing Executive Officer of MOL, stated, "Natural gas and LNG are difficult-to-substitute energy sources and will continue to play a crucial role in supporting Asia's energy supply." He also introduced MOL's involvement not only in LNG transportation but also in LNG infrastructure projects.
