Suminoe Ward, Osaka City, is a region with a concentration of diverse industries, but labor shortages are a significant challenge. By combining the expertise and network in the human resources field held by the Company Group and MOL CAREER with the regional characteristics and administrative functions of Suminoe Ward, the three parties will further deepen their collaboration, centered on the ward, through services such as talent introduction utilizing MOL CAREER's platform, consulting, staffing, and retention support including training, to provide employment support for companies within the ward.

Furthermore, Suminoe Ward, Osaka City, where "Funecil" is located, is also a port of call for the MOL Group's Mitsui O.S.K. Sunflower ferries, and it is a region that has developed as a departure and arrival point not only for the Company Group but also for ferries to various destinations. Against this backdrop, it serves as a hub connecting industries such as shipping and logistics with the local community. The partnership agreement with the ward is being concluded as a locally focused learning space. In the future, we will also engage in educational projects utilizing "Funecil," and through hands-on learning themed around ships, the sea, and logistics, we aim to create opportunities for children's education support and lifelong learning, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
