"Yurakuan," the venue, was established in 2019, inheriting the lineage of a dyeing and kimono fabric manufacturer that has been creating Kyo-Yuzen for over seventy years in Kyoto's Muromachi. "Yurakuan" is a special space not usually open to the public, carefully preserving the history and proven techniques of the traditional craft of Kyo-Yuzen while nurturing kimono culture.
