Yokohama Minatomirai to Host 'GOOD DAY PARK! 2026' Market Festival with 'Something Comfortable' Concept, Enjoyed with Local Community

The GOOD DAY PARK! 2026 Executive Committee will host the 'GOOD DAY PARK! 2026' market festival, enjoyed with the local community, for two days on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th, at Grand Mall Park in Yokohama Minatomirai.

This festival, now in its 8th year, aims to vitalize the local community centered around the Minatomirai area and convey the importance of environmental protection, uniting the entire Minatomirai area in this message. In 2026, under the concept of 'something comfortable,' it will be reborn as a market festival specializing in 'markets,' 'workshops,' and 'food' that are deeply related to the local areas such as Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama, and Minatomirai.

The festival is linked with the 'GREENROOM FESTIVAL,' a music and art culture festival that started in 2005 with the concept of 'Save The Ocean.'

At Grand Mall Park, the venue, three areas will be developed based on the theme 'something comfortable,' creating a natural and warm outdoor atmosphere: a 'Market Area' featuring 'LOCAL GOOD' products deeply connected to Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama, and Minatomirai; a 'Workshop Area' where both small children and adults can enjoy activities; and a 'Food Area' with kitchen cars abundantly using locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, in the dining area, MARK IS Minatomirai will sell original design steel cups for the first time, created through the 'MIRAI BATON PROJECT,' a project to create a new circular economy for SDGs. Furthermore, a booth for the 'GREEN×EXPO 2027,' the world's premier (※1) international horticultural exhibition to be held in Yokohama City from March 2027, will also be featured, adding excitement to the venue.
