For this exhibition, we have invited artist Mirei Hiroki, who has been active on a large scale both domestically and internationally, including in New York and Omotesando Hills.

Exhibiting Artist Profile: Mirei Hiroki

Creating works on themes such as "environment and mind"

Two people, one artist

Since presenting works in France in 1996, Mirei Hiroki has consistently painted flowers. In addition to works commemorating Mickey Mouse's birth and collaborations with Isamu Noguchi's "AKARI," Mirei Hiroki has presented large-scale installations across Japan, including Omotesando Hills, Shibuya Crossing, and in front of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Dome. Their activities, such as raising awareness about the disposable plastic umbrella problem in Japan, being selected as an official artist for NY Central Park, and documentary broadcasts on NHK's "Hana wa Saku" and "Bi no Tsubo," are highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally. In 2025, they will create fusuma paintings for Daihonzan Kobo-ji Temple, continuing to expand their range of expression.
