The hot spring spa facility 'Mizu no Ie,' nestled in the rich forests of Izu Kogen, will participate in the 'Izu Kogen May Festival' starting April 29, 2026. For this exhibition, we have invited 'MireyHIROKI,' an artist who develops large-scale activities domestically and internationally, including in New York and Omotesando Hills.
Endorsing the philosophy of the 'Century of Environment and Life,' which is also a policy of Shizuoka Prefecture, we will deliver a special month to reconsider the connection between nature and humans through artworks themed on the environment and life.

Two People as One Artist
Since presenting work in France in 1996, they have consistently continued to paint flowers. In addition to collaborative works commemorating the birth of Mickey Mouse and Isamu Noguchi's 'AKARI,' they have presented large-scale installations using various parts of Japan as canvases, such as Omotesando Hills, the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and in front of the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome. Their activities are highly acclaimed at home and abroad, including efforts to spread awareness of the disposable vinyl umbrella problem in Japan, being selected as official artists in NY's Central Park, and featuring in documentary broadcasts on NHK's 'Hana wa Saku' and 'Bi no Tsubo'.
