This follows the overwhelming response to the December 2025 campaign, which concluded early due to high demand. Under this campaign, eligible customers will receive Mizuho Points in addition to standard time deposit interest, with points awarded based on deposit amount.

Against the backdrop of rising interest rates, asset management options are diversifying. Mizuho Bank positions time deposits as a reliable method for growing wealth, especially for customers who feel uneasy about investing or currently leave funds idle in ordinary savings accounts.

Name: Mizuho Summer 2026: Choose Safe and Rewarding Savings – Time Deposit Campaign

Period: June 18, 2026 (Thursday) to September 17, 2026 (Thursday)

Eligibility: Customers must register via the 'Mizuho Points Mall' in the Mizuho Direct app and make a new fund deposit into a time deposit (Mizuho Super Fixed Deposit, 6-month term, auto-renewal). Eligible deposit amounts range from 500,000 yen to 3,000,000 yen.

Benefits: Eligible customers will receive Mizuho Points in addition to standard interest, with point value ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 yen depending on deposit amount.

※ 'New funds' refer to deposits made in addition to the yen deposit balance held at Mizuho Bank as of 6:00 PM on May 31, 2026. Eligibility is determined by comparing the total yen deposit balance in the target account at 6:00 PM on May 31, 2026, and 6:00 PM on September 30, 2026.
