Mizuho released the next-generation AI platform "Wiz Base" in December 2025, creating an environment for the safe and efficient business use of generative AI. In addition to introducing generative AI, we are promoting the use of "AI agents" that autonomously execute specific business processes, shifting from efficiency improvements at the task level to the automation and sophistication of entire business operations.
On the other hand, as we continued to launch AI agents with different business requirements, it became a challenge to ensure speed and reproducibility with a method dependent on individual development. Therefore, the need for standardization and commonalization from the following perspectives increased.

Based on this situation, we have built the "Agent Factory" as a mechanism to safely and rapidly scale AI agents throughout the company and to continuously improve and expand them in short cycles.

The Agent Factory is a system that integrally designs the platform (things) and the structure (people) that support the development and mass production of AI agents. With an eye on large-scale utilization in the future, it is designed to maintain consistency in design, quality, security, and operation even as the number of developers increases, and to continuously run the improvement cycle after production deployment.
The platform is positioned to support the entire process from development to evaluation and improvement of AI agents used within Mizuho. The three main elements that support this are as follows.
**1. Common Template "Agent Template"**
We have developed the "Agent Template," which templates the elements necessary for building AI agents, allowing development and deployment with a standardized configuration. It reduces the initial construction load and variations during development, and supports development with an eye on post-production evaluation and improvement.
