We support the April Dream project, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of Miyamori Co., Ltd.

Things that can still be used are being thrown away. They are let go simply because they have no place to go, even though they truly hold value.

There are far too many such moments in this world.

Our dream at Miyamori Co., Ltd. is to eliminate the very choice of "discarding" from this world.

In the textile industry, massive amounts of offcuts and unused materials are generated every day. The reality is that most of these are discarded despite still having value.

We have turned our attention to these materials and have continued our efforts to "give them new value and circulate them."

We have "ReForme," a repair business that breathes new life into damaged clothing.

We have "Nercocia.," a brand that upcycles unused resources—specifically, oil extracted from Job's tears bran—into skin-friendly clothing.

And now, we are about to take a step even further.

That is "textile charcoal," created by carbonizing fibers.

By converting discarded clothing and textiles into charcoal, they are reborn not as mere "trash," but as a resource with diverse applications.

Furthermore, by carbonizing textiles, it is possible to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 20% compared to incineration.

Using this "textile charcoal" as a starting point, we are working to create a new circular mechanism where clothing becomes charcoal, which then supports daily life, and connects once again.

As the first step in this journey, we created the "Clothing Pencil."

The "Clothing Pencil" received the Excellence Award in the Sustainable Category at the Japan Stationery Awards. Despite this being an unconventional challenge from outside the stationery industry, it was recognized by many people.

Things that were once discarded change their form, pass to the next user, and support daily life. A world where such a cycle is the norm.

A society where things are not "finished when their role ends," but rather "connected to the next role."

That is the future we envision.

The day when the word "discard" becomes a thing of the past. To ensure that day does not end as just a dream, we will continue to question the very nature of manufacturing.

Clothing, materials, and value.

We will not let them end.

Miyamori Co., Ltd. is seriously committed to creating a future where we "make all discarding a thing of the past."
