MIYAKO HOTEL Yokkaichi (Location: 1-3-38 Anjima, Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture) will be offering an afternoon tea themed around 'Matcha' from May 1, 2026 (Friday) to June 30, 2026 (Tuesday) at the 1st-floor Restaurant & Guest Lounge 'Palmier'. This afternoon tea is crafted using tea from Hagimura Tea, located in the Mizusawa district, the inner sanctuary of local Yokkaichi. We have prepared unique sweets such as 'Matcha Macaron' filled with matcha buttercream, 'Matcha Tart' finished with matcha ganache and covered tea jelly, and 'Strawberry Daifuku Style' which wraps strawberries in matcha bean paste and mochi. Afternoon Tea 'Matcha' The theme for May and June is 'Matcha'. We have prepared an afternoon tea featuring the fragrant matcha from Hagimura Tea in Mizusawa, Yokkaichi. Enjoy a variety of meticulously crafted sweets by our patissier, including 'Matcha Tart' finished with matcha ganache and covered tea jelly, 'Moss Ball' coated in matcha sponge crumbs over white ganache, and 'Black Sesame and Matcha Mousse' paired with black sesame from local Kukui Sangyo. The scones can be enjoyed with red bean paste and soy milk matcha pudding. You can choose from 5 types of drinks, including coffee and tea (KUSMI TEA).
