MIXI, Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Koki Kimura) will participate as a FY2026 partner in 'Asu-Challe!', a DEI education and training program led by para-athlete instructors, organized by the Nippon Foundation Parasports Support Center (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yasushi Yamawaki; hereafter 'Parasapo').

'Asu-Challe!' is scheduled to be held over 700 times a year nationwide in collaboration with partner companies, and through this partnership, MIXI will contribute to its national expansion.

■ Purpose and Background of Participation

Under the corporate purpose of 'Enriching communication and inspiring moments of joy,' MIXI pursues the creation of spaces and opportunities where 'hearts connect' by providing various communication services. Internally, we have advanced environments where employees with diverse characteristics can thrive, including the employment of people with disabilities through our special subsidiary, MIXI EMPOWERMENT, Inc.

Furthermore, through professional sports teams like the 'Chiba Jets' and 'FC Tokyo,' we are working to solve social issues and promote DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) utilizing the power of sports. This includes revitalizing local communities and holding sports classes for children where everyone can enjoy sports, regardless of disabilities.

In addition, as part of our efforts for mutual prosperity with local communities and fostering the next generation, we promote ICT education for elementary and junior high school students in Shibuya Ward and provide educational support for technical college students in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture.

Resonating with Parasapo's philosophy of 'SOCIAL CHANGE with SPORTS,' we decided to join 'Asu-Challe!' as a partner to promote next-generation education through parasports.

■ Thoughts on 'Asu-Challe!'

The dialogue with para-athletes and parasports experiences provided by 'Asu-Challe!' are programs that bring about changes in participants' awareness and behavior. We believe this process of mutual understanding born from 'sharing experiences' strongly aligns with MIXI's goal of creating spaces and opportunities where 'hearts connect.'

In this initiative, we will work to create connections between people and society through sports by combining our cultivated expertise in 'communication design connecting people' with the authentic experiential value of 'Asu-Challe!'.

We will contribute to realizing a DEI society where the next generation of children naturally accepts diversity and everyone can flourish as their authentic selves.

■ Comment from Koki Kimura, Representative Director, President and CEO of MIXI, Inc.

The overwhelming passion and performance of para-athletes are filled with 'inspiring moments of joy' that vividly overturn people's values. Through the ultimate 'common language' of sports, we learn to love our differences and connect our hearts. We will deliver such foundational experiences of rich communication to the children of the next generation.

■ Comment from Yasushi Yamawaki, Chairman of The Nippon Foundation

'Asu-Challe!' celebrated its 10th year last year, reaching 660,000 people, primarily children nationwide. As we embark on a new decade aiming for further evolution, we are delighted to have MIXI, Inc. join us as a partner. What we have witnessed through our past initiatives is how children absorb these experiences like sponges. I am thrilled to see the chemical reaction that will occur when combined with MIXI's excellent expertise in communication design, expanding the possibilities for many children alongside 'Asu-Challe!'.
