MIXI Launches "MEDIAMIXI," a Comprehensive Web-Centric Media Project Featuring Voice Reading Functionality

MIXI Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Senior Executive Officer, CEO: Hiroki Kimura) will launch the comprehensive media project "MEDIAMIXI" on Wednesday, April 1st of this year.

"MEDIAMIXI" will deliver content that multi-dimensionally captures "what is happening now" and "the future of society" through WEB news providing the latest information on entertainment and technology, YouTube channels covering a wide variety of topics, and radio programs featuring key persons from various fields such as business, entertainment, and politics.

As the first commemorative project, Tomoko Namba, Chairman of DeNA Co., Ltd., will hold a dialogue on the YouTube channel "MIXI's Sub Channel" under the concept of becoming "MIXI's one-day chairman." This will also be simultaneously released on the WEB news media "MEDIAMIXI."

In addition, the radio program "MEDIAMIXI with interfm" (broadcasting starts April 7th) will feature Kentaro Fujii, a director responsible for numerous popular programs including "Suiyobi no Downtown" on TBS, as the first guest. The WEB news media will also deliver local reports from overseas conferences such as SXSW and articles from interviews in New York.

Background of Project Launch
