On May 23, 2026 (Saturday), as part of environmental beautification and water source conservation activities, we conducted cleanup activities and planted hydrangea seedlings along the "Mitsuiroko no Komichi" (Mitsuiroko Path) walking trail, which is the water source area for Mitsuiroko Beverage Co., Ltd.'s Gifu Yoro Factory (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Motoyasu Omori), a consolidated subsidiary of our group. On the day, 72 employees from various Mitsuiroko Group companies and their families participated.
Forests play a crucial role in conserving water resources. As fallen leaves and branches decompose and form forest soil, the soil acts like a sponge, retaining rainwater underground and gradually releasing it into rivers. This process contributes to flood prevention and mitigation of water shortages. Furthermore, the pores in the soil filter water and adsorb chemical substances, purifying it. Additionally, forest plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO2), a cause of global warming, through photosynthesis and release oxygen.
Our cleanup activities involve human intervention to further revitalize the forest, transforming it into a beautiful, comfortable, and vibrant environment. We believe that such activities, by contributing to nature conservation efforts in local and national regions, ultimately help protect people's "rich lives."

About Mitsuiroko Beverage Gifu Yoro Factory
Minamino, where the Kiso Three Rivers (Kiso River, Nagara River, Ibi River) flow, is known as a region rich in water. Particularly, the area at the foot of the Yoro Mountains to the west is a "water village" with clear water polished by the mountains. The soft water, with a hardness of 15mg/L, considered suitable for Japanese people, can be consumed as is, or used for diluting alcoholic beverages, making tea and coffee, cooking rice, and other culinary purposes. Its pure, gentle, and simple taste, free from unnecessary elements, is also recommended for infant formula and for elderly individuals taking medication. The Gifu Yoro Factory manufactures natural mineral water that leverages the characteristics of the Kiso Three Rivers' water.
