Educational Program for Teens 'GAKU' to Hold 'Humor to the City' Exhibition in Nihonbashi from June 13

- Under the themes of 'Video' and 'Graphic Design', students created works over three months while receiving lectures from a distinguished lineup of instructors.

- The completed works will be exhibited from Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Miyanaga Building and the Edo Sakura Dori underground pedestrian walkway signage. On the final day, Sunday, June 21, a talk session by instructors Aiko Koike and Reiji Saito will also be held at +NARU NIHONBASHI.

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Ueda; hereinafter 'Mitsui Fudosan'), together with 'GAKU', a creative learning center for teenagers, will hold a work exhibition for the project 'Humor to the City' (hereinafter 'this exhibition') from Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 21, 2026. The project involves teenage students exploring their connection with the city.

For the third joint event this year, welcoming Aiko Koike (Graphic Designer/Art Director) and Reiji Saito (Video Artist) as instructors, a total of 6 classes were held from March to June 2026 with teenage students under the themes of 'Video' and 'Graphic Design'.

This exhibition serves as the final presentation and will be held from June 13 to June 21, 2026, at the Miyanaga Building and the Edo Sakura Dori underground pedestrian walkway signage in the Nihonbashi area, the founding place of the Mitsui Group. On the final day, a free talk session by the instructors, open to the general public, will also be held.

## About GAKU 'Humor to the City'
'Humor possesses imagination and creativity. It has freedom and a critical eye. It involves blank spaces and participation. Is humor possible in the city?'
Overview: Teenage students and creators practice and explore visual expressions such as video and graphics, using the Nihonbashi area as a stage.

- Class 1: Urban Video Group
Instructor: Reiji Saito (Video Artist)
Overview: A class to learn video expression by creating video works set in the city and presenting them as a single archive group.

- Class 2: Expansion of Graphic Design
Instructor: Aiko Koike (Graphic Designer/Art Director)
Overview: A class to learn graphic design set in the city by drawing inspiration from the streets of Nihonbashi, creating designs, and exhibiting them in the city.
